Last weekend my Colombian friends cooked arepas, which is a dish made of corn flour popular in both Colombia and the rest of Latin America. It taste similar to a cheese-filled, toasted English muffin.
In return, I introduced them to good ol’ fashioned American pancakes. They weren’t the prettiest, but they sure were scrumptious.
In the ultimate taste test, this red-blooded American unanimously declares the buttery, fluffy pancakes the winner.
